Juli 2023 informieren die HWR Berlin, HTW Berlin und die Berliner Hochschule für Technik interessierte Frauen gemeinsam, wie Ihr Weg an die Hochschule aussehen kann und welche Besonderheiten Sie dabei berücksichtigen sollten.

Dieses Ziel verfolgt das Metavorhaben meta-IFiF gemeinsam mit den Projekten der Förderrichtlinie "Innovative Frauen im Fokus". Beides wird vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) gefördert.

EU publication: "She figures 2021"
Gender in research and innovation : statistics and indicators
Equality between women and men is one of the EU’s founding values. Since the European Commission’s ERA Communication of 2012, gender equality in research and innovation as a priority has been strengthened progressively. The She Figures 2021 publication uses the latest available statistics to monitor the state of gender equality R&I across Europe and beyond, through providing comparable data and analysis for approximately 88 indicators. The data follow the ‘chronological journey’ of women from graduating from doctoral studies to participating in the labour market and acquiring decision-making roles, while exploring differences in women’s and men’s working conditions and research and innovation output.

Online-Festival: Advancing women in STEM all around the world
Ein Online Festival der Fondation L’Oréal mit Vorträgen, Interviews und Panel Diskussion als vielfältige, kurze Online-Videos, u.A. mit Katalin Karikó und Firdausi Qadri, und einer Breite von wissenschaftlichen und wissenschaftspolitischen Themen (Medizin in der Menopause, Wassermanagment in ländlichen Gebieten, Karrierewege außerhalb der Universität, Neurologie und Gender stereotypes....)

UNESCO Kunstprojekt: Creative Resilience: Art by Women in Science
In July 2021, UNESCO issued a global call for contribution to women with a background in STEM, inviting them to send their stories and artworks in relation to the Covid 19 pandemic. Artworks by 54 women of science have been selected and will be screened in the exhibition. The women of science are neuroscientists, microbiologists, doctors, nurses, medical students, researchers, science communicators, engineers and mathematicians of all ages, from 31 countries: Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Czechia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Latvia, Malaysia, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Republic of Moldova, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Turkey, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the United States of America.
Women scientists are less visible than their male counterparts. Through this exhibition, UNESCO seeks to give a voice and visibility to STEM women, to their unique scientific perspectives, personal journey, creation, and resilience throughout the pandemic.
