The 9th meeting of the AKDC will take place from February 5-7, 2025 on the research campus of the Fraunhofer Institute in Waischenfeld (in the center of Franconian Switzerland, near Bamberg). As described under registration, all participants are requested to submit a scientific abstract and a graphic overview of their project, expertise, research tools and interests. The conference language is English.
The AKDC focusses on all aspects of antigen-presenting cell biology in health and disease, including ontogeny and characterization of DC and mononuclear phagocytes, pathogenic triggers, immunomodulation, maintenance of tolerance, and vaccine development. The main goal of the annual meeting is to foster collaborations and, in particular, to give young scientists (MD/PhD students and postdocs) the opportunity to present their (unpublished) work in a confidential setting.
