The meeting will take place September 14, 2026 (12:00 pm) – September 15, 2026 (1:00 pm) at the TUM School of Life Sciences, Freising, Germany.

Important Dates

Early Bird Registration

Conference fee (without accommodation): 80 €

Late Registration
June 29 – August 31, 2026
Conference fee (without accommodation): 100 €

Abstract Submission

Participants are invited to submit an abstract for a short presentation (10–15 minutes).

Early-career researchers and young scientists are especially encouraged to present their data and ongoing research. The meeting aims to provide a supportive platform to discuss new results, preliminary findings, and current projects with the scientific community.

The scientific program will be compiled from the submitted abstracts, in addition to invited keynote lectures.

Abstracts can be uploaded during the registration process using the provided Word template.

If you prefer to register first and submit your abstract later, please send the abstract by email to via.btr@ls.tum.de after registration.

The fee is the same for members and non-members of the DGfI and/or the VIA study group. You are most welcome to become a member of the study group and/or the DGfI itself, however. Membership in the study group is free.
