AK Dendritic Cells DGfI study groups

The AKDC was founded on 28.09.2016 in the context of the 46th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Immunology in Hamburg. The two initiators Diana Dudziak (Erlangen) and Björn Clausen (Mainz) were elected as speaker and co-speaker of the working group. The working group is interested in all aspects of the biology of DCs and macrophages – from ontogenesis to T-cell priming between immunomodulatory aspects and the associated possibilities of using these cells in cancer and autoimmune therapy. At present, the working group comprises 90 members.
