AK Pediatric Immunology DGfI study groups

Logo-AKPI_kurzThe study group Paediatric Immunology (AKPI) is concerned with translational research from immunological basics to clinical care in primary congenital immunodeficiencies (PID). On the one hand, the function and regulation of the immune system is an exciting topic for every paediatrician, on the other hand, primary congenital immunodeficiencies mostly (but by far not always) occur in paediatrics.

The main topics within this study group are:

  • Immunodeficiencies
  • Human immunology
  • Clinical Immunology
  • Ontogenesis of the immune system
  • Stem cell transplantation
  • Immunotherapy
