Personal membership

Benefits of membership

  • Participation in one or more of our 14 different study groups (‘Arbeitskreise’ = AKs) covering a wide range of topics within immunology
  • Possibilty to join the DGfI Young Immunologists (YI)
  • 7 different awards for excellence in immunology
  • Travel grants, in particular for doctoral students
  • Reduced registration fees for the DGfI immunology schools (Spring School, Autumn School, Translational Immunology School)
  • Reduced registration fee for the DGfI Annual Meeting and the European Congress of Immunology (ECI)
  • Possibility to apply for stipends for immunology schools in Japan and China
  • Possibility to apply for EFIS travel grants, awards and other EFIS funding opportunities

NEW: Annual membership fee from 2023
90 € for regular members
60 € for retired members (on request)
30 € for (PhD) students (please send proof of student status to mail@dgfi.org upon submitting your membership application and remember to send in the current proof once per year.)

Prerequisite
Ask two DGfI members to endorse your membership application with a short email to mail@dgfi.org (Guarantee).
There is no contact on the part of the DGfI.

Notice period
Membership runs from Jan 1st to Dec 31st and is renewed automatically every year unless cancelled by October 31st of the previous year.
