AK T Cells - Subpopulations and Functions DGfI study groups

Founded in the mid-1990s as an interest group by those concerned with the function and significance of Th1/Th2 cells, the group officially became the DGfI study group “Type I, II and III immune responses” in 2001, then “T-Cells, Subsets and Functions” in 2009.

The aim of the annual meetings is to bring together those in Germany – and as a vision for the future in Europe – who are concerned with this topic. As a very successful consequence of this idea, multiple cooperations and even a TransRegio-SFB of members of the study group have emerged. The meeting is regarded as a regular forum for the exchange of ideas and contacts. In this sense, the programme for the meeting is always short term, concise and functional in order to enable constructive critical up to date discussions.
